Carmen Musick 

Practice Manager

Carmen recently joined our team in November 2009. She lives in Marshall, Virginia with her husband and daughter as well as 3 dogs and 2 guinea pigs. She spends her spare time at the barn while her daughter is riding horses and participating in church events. She has finally been convinced that she likes football and is a Vikings fan. Carmen is also enrolled at NOVA to continue her business management studies with hopes of obtaining her CVPM (Certified Veterinary Practice Manager) credentials.

Toni Hawkins

Licensed Veterinary Technician

Toni currently lives in Catlett , VA with her husband and daughter, and commutes to Ashburn to AVAH. She has been a licensed veterinary technician since 2005. She has 3 dogs, 2 crazy bulldogs named Dixie and Pixie, a quiet mutt Maui, as well as a cat named LuLu. In her free time she loves to go drag racing with her husband, spend time with friends and enjoys watching the Dallas Cowboys during football season.

 Jessica Atkisson

Assistant

Jessica joined the AVAH team in February 2009. She lives in Lovettsville where she has a cattle dog, goats, a cat, and a horse. She is currently studying to apply to the Veterinary Technician program at NOVA. In her spare time Jessica enjoys riding horses and hiking.

Travis Reilly

Assistant

Travis joined AVAH in March 2009, he has worked in the veterinary field for 6 years. He is originally from Florida but has been living in Ashburn for 5 years with his two dogs Buster and Daisy. In his spare time he likes to spend time with friends and going hiking with his dogs

Tasha Blackwell

Assistant

Tasha graduated from Heritage High School in 2004, and is currently enrolled in NOVA's Veterinary Technician program. Tasha has a shihtzu named Champ who she loves to play with. In her spare time she enjoys fishing, camping and going on cruises. She is also a Steelers fan and a Capitals fan.

Linda Brown

Attendant

Linda Brown lives in Ashburn Va with her husband. She has a cat name Kid. She watches local sports and is a fan of the Washington Capitals. She loves things of all sizes creepy and crawly.

Kathy Theis

Assistant

Kathy currently lives in Catlett Va with her boyfriend. She has horses, several cats and several dogs. She used to be involved with rodeos and team roping. She is a member of AKC and enjoys competition coon hunting with her boyfriend.

Frank Lonardo

Assistant

Frank lives in Lucketts VA. He is currently enrolled at NOVA and is planning to apply to the Veterinary Technician Program to become an LVT in the future. He is an avid reader, has a huge music collection and can play many musical instruments and composes a lot of his own music. He watches football and is a local Redskin fan!

Lauryn Hall

Lauryn lives in Hamilton, VA with her husband. They have two dogs an Akita named Burke, and a shepherd mix named Toby. Lauryn also enjoys scrapbooking and spending time with friends and family. She is a diehard Cowboys fan!

Katy Miller

Attendant

Katy joined AVAH in June 2009.  She is a senior at Broad Run High School. Next year Katy plans to go to school to pursue an animal & veterinary science degree.  In her free time, Katy enjoys  being outside and playing with her beagle, Willie. 

Beverly Ogden

Receptionist

Beverly joined AVAH in October 2008. Although she has no pets of her own, she loves animals big and small. She is currently exploring the idea of going to college and pursuing a degree in education. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, shopping, and spending time with family and friends.

Sue Vlasic

Receptionist

Sue joined AVAH in June 2009, she has worked in the veterinary field for the last 2 years. She lives in Ashburn Village with her husband and three children. She has three cats, Oreo, Zoe, and Rocky and a dog named Hobo. She is a Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins fan. She likes spending time at her cabin in the mountains of WV canoeing, hiking, and relaxing with her family and friends.
