Carmen Musick

Practice Manager

Carmen joined our team in November 2009. She lives in Haymarket, VA with her husband and daughter as well as 2 dogs, 2 horses and 1 guinea pig. She spends her spare time at the barn while her daughter is riding horses and participating in church events.

Toni Hawkins

Licensed Veterinary Technician

Toni currently lives in Catlett , VA with her husband and daughter, and commutes to Ashburn to AVAH. She has been a licensed veterinary technician since 2005. She has 3 dogs, 2 crazy bulldogs named Dixie and Pixie, a quiet mutt Maui, as well as a cat named LuLu. In her free time she loves to go drag racing with her husband, spend time with friends and enjoys watching the Dallas Cowboys during football season.

Tasha Blackwell

Assistant

Tasha joined AVAH in the fall of 2004. She graduated from NOVA's Veterinary Technician program in 2009.  Tasha currently lives in Catlett, VA with her english redtick coon hound named Patron.  In her spare time she likes to fish, coon hunt and go drag racing all over the east coast.  Her favorite sport is football and is a die hard Pittsburgh fan, and enjoys watching the Washingtion Capitals hockey team.

Linda Brown

Attendant

Linda Brown lives in Ashburn Va with her husband. She has a cat name Kid. She watches local sports and is a fan of the Washington Capitals. She loves things of all sizes creepy and crawly.

Kathy Theis

Technician

Kathy currently lives in Catlett Va with her boyfriend. She has horses, several cats and several dogs. She used to be involved with rodeos and team roping. She is a member of AKC and enjoys competition coon hunting with her boyfriend.

Lauryn Hall

Lauryn joined AVAH in 2005. She lives in Winchester, VA.  She has a boxer/cattle dog mix named Duke.  In her free time she enjoys spending time with family & friends. and taking Duke to the dog park.  She also loves football season and is a big Dallas Cowboy fan!

Katy Miller

Attendant

Katy joined AVAH in June 2009.  She is currently attending Virginia Tech as a member of the class of 2014. At Virginia Tech, Katy is persuing a major in Biological Sciences and a minor in Animal and Poultry Sciences. After her undergraduate education, Katy hope to continue on to Veterinary School. In her free time, katy enjoys being outdoors and playing with her beagle, Willie.

My name is Casey and I am a junior at Broad Run High School. I am a proud owner of a Mastiff as well as a rescued mutt. Someday I would like to own my own horse! When I go off to college I would like to study Biology. With my degree I hope to help as many animals as possible by doing lab research.

Shruthi Ganesh

Shruthi joined AVAH in August, 2010. she is a senior at Broad Run High School. Next year she will be going to Virginia Tech to study animal & poultry sciences, a pre-veterinary major. In her free time, Shruthi likes to run, play basketball, and spend time with her friends and family.

Beverly Ogden

Technician

Beverly joined AVAH in October 2008. Although she has no pets of her own, she loves animals big and small. She is currently exploring the idea of attending NOVA's Licensed Veterinary Technician Program. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, scrapbooking, shopping, and spending time with family and friends.

Sue Vlasic

Receptionist

Sue joined AVAH in June 2009, she has worked in the veterinary field for the last 2 years. She lives in Ashburn Village with her husband and three children. She has three cats, Oreo, Zoe, and Rocky and a dog named Hobo. She is a Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins fan. She likes spending time at her cabin in the mountains of WV canoeing, hiking, and relaxing with her family and friends.
